Who Can Foster?

*Must be at least 21 and a resident of North Carolina

*Can be married, divorced, single or widowed

*Can own or rent

*No history of child abuse or neglect, and no felony convictions  for violent crimes or offenses against children

*Willingness to complete 30 hours of training

*Must be in good physical health

*Able to provide a safe, stable home with smoke-free space

*Limited to no more than 5 children total in the home
